The material world is made of atoms. Atoms can be arranged into any configuration that physics permits — food, medicine, microchips, rocket engines, solar panels. The constraint has never been the atoms themselves; it has always been the energy and the knowledge required to rearrange them.

Electricity is the universal energy currency of the modern economy — the cleanest, most controllable, and increasingly the cheapest form of energy humanity has ever produced. Artificial intelligence is compressing the cost of knowledge and decision-making toward zero. When the cost of energy and information both collapse simultaneously, the cost of reconfiguring matter collapses with them.

Abundance is the result. Not scarcity managed more efficiently, but genuine, compounding abundance — more of what humans need and want, produced with less of everything it used to cost.

Artificial Intelligence

Intelligence is the master input. Every other constraint — in materials science, drug discovery, energy systems, logistics, engineering — yields faster when you compound intelligence against it. AI does not merely automate existing tasks; it accelerates the rate at which humanity generates new knowledge and converts that knowledge into practical capability.

We are at the early inflection of a curve that took decades to build. Foundation models trained on the sum of human text and code are now being extended into biology, chemistry, and physical simulation. The doubling times for model capability have been shortening, not lengthening. We treat AI not as a product category but as a general-purpose amplifier of every other technology — including the two that follow.

Space Colonisation

Space colonisation was not, for most of human history, merely too expensive — it was unthinkable. The tools, the physics, the industrial base did not exist. What has changed is not the price tag: it is the fundamental threshold from impossible to possible. That is a paradigm shift, comparable in kind to the discovery of the Americas — not a marginal improvement, but the opening of an entirely new order of frontier.

The scale of what becomes accessible is without historical precedent. Unlike the Americas, space offers not one new continent but thousands of worlds, asteroid belts of raw material, and limitless solar energy. The initial beachheads will not be human settlements burdened with suffering and sacrifice — they will be intelligent systems: robotic bases, autonomous data centres, asteroid mining operations. Capital and computation arrive before people do. The civilisational frontier expands without the human cost that defined every prior age of exploration.

Humanoid Robotics

The bottleneck between intelligence and the physical world has always been labour — specifically, the skilled human capacity to manipulate objects, operate machinery, and perform complex physical tasks in unstructured environments. That bottleneck is dissolving.

Humanoid robots are the physical interface between the digital and material worlds. Trained on vast datasets of human motion and physical interaction, and guided by AI systems that can plan and adapt in real time, they are rapidly approaching the capability to perform the full range of physical tasks that human workers perform today. The economic implications are profound: the cost of physical production — of manufacturing, construction, logistics, and care — becomes a function of electricity and compute costs, both of which are falling. Labour scarcity ceases to be a binding constraint on abundance.

A self-reinforcing
system

These three pillars are not merely parallel trends. They are a mutually reinforcing system, each accelerating the others in ways that compound over time.

AI improves robotics directly: better perception, planning, and generalisation make robots more capable faster than any mechanical improvement could. Robotics, in turn, accelerates space infrastructure: autonomous systems can construct, operate, and maintain facilities in environments too hostile or remote for humans. Space expands the resource base for AI: both in raw materials for compute hardware and in the vast solar energy available beyond the atmosphere. And AI itself — compounding across all three domains simultaneously — shortens the feedback loops that connect scientific discovery to deployed capability.

Technological progress is the most powerful force for reducing human suffering and expanding human potential that we know of. Accelerating that progress — not managing it, not hedging against it — is the explicit philosophical commitment that underlies every position Osiris takes. Aligning capital with this force, at the precise moment when its compounding begins to accelerate, is both our conviction and our mandate.
